What changes can I expect if I don’t have a Princess Premier or Princess Plus package?

Select casual dining venues include a cover charge of $14.99 for multi-course prix fixe meals. A la carte items may also be purchased individually. With OceanNow®, your exclusive delivery service at sea, you can order food or drinks through the Princess app and have it delivered to select locations onboard. A one-time access fee of $14.99 per person per voyage will apply for OceanNow® delivery and a $5 room service fee will apply for each order placed by stateroom phone.

Why is Princess making these changes to the Princess Premier and Princess Plus Packages?

We’re updating our packages to deliver greater value and align more closely with what our guests want—making vacations more seamless and stress-free, knowing that many benefits are already taken care of.

Are Princess Premier and Princess Plus available for all stateroom types?

Yes! Both Princess Premier and Princess Plus are available to ALL guests and ALL stateroom types. These packages are available for purchase pre-cruise or once on board within the first two days of your sailing.

Will I still be able to order breakfast for delivery through the doorknob card I find in my stateroom? Can I continue to order housekeeping items like ice buckets or bathrobes with no charge?

Breakfast ordered for stateroom delivery by placing the card outside your door will continue to be complimentary and no additional fees will be charged, regardless of whether you have Princess Premier or Princess Plus Package. The same is true for housekeeping items ordered either by telephone or through your stateroom steward. For guests on a standard Princess Package, housekeeping items ordered using OceanNow will incur the one-time $14.99 OceanNow delivery access fee.

If Princess Premier was included in a promotion when I made my booking, can I remove it?

If your reservation included Princess Premier Package at the time of booking due to a promotion, you can cancel your reservation and re-book it without the package. For bookings made directly with Princess Cruises, please visit the Customer Support and Information page. For all other bookings, please contact your Travel Advisor.

What is included in the Premier Beverage Package?

Effective January 14, 2026, the Premier Beverage Package includes an unlimited premium selection of beer, spirits, wine by the glass, alcohol and zero-alcohol cocktails up to a $20 USD / $30 AUD value each. All non-alcoholic beverages including fountain sodas, specialty coffees and teas, frappes at Coffee & Cones, and Red Bull energy drinks are also included. In addition, up to 12 bottles of sparkling or still bottled water (500ml or less) are included per day. Bar service charges are included in this package. The package includes the additional benefit of a 25% discount on the following excluded items: all bottles of wine, one-liter bottles of water and canned soda. The Premier Beverage Package may be used on our private islands, all onboard food and beverage venues, and other onboard areas such as the theater or public spaces that offer beverage service. If dining at a specialty dining venue, a large (one liter) bottle of still or sparkling water is covered by the package.

What is included in the Plus Beverage Package?

Effective January 14, 2026, the Plus Beverage Package includes beer, spirits, wine by the glass, alcohol and zero-alcohol cocktails up to $15 USD / $22 AUD. All non-alcoholic beverages including fountain sodas, specialty coffees and teas, frappes at Coffee & Cones, sparkling or still bottled water (500ml or less) and Red Bull energy drinks are also included. The package includes the additional benefit of a 25% discount on the following excluded items: all bottles of wine, one-liter bottles of water and canned soda. The Plus Beverage Package may be used on our private islands, all onboard food and beverage venues, and other onboard areas such as the theater or public spaces that offer beverage service. The Plus Beverage Package has a daily limit of 15 beverages over a 24-hour period (i.e. 6 a.m. to 6 a.m.) and includes all beverages mentioned above, excluding specialty coffees and teas, which do not count toward any daily beverage limit, and sparkling or still bottled water (500ml or less), which do not count toward the 15 beverage limit, but are separately limited to no more than 12 per day.

What if I’m not of legal drinking age (21 years of age or older)?

Guests who are under the legal drinking age on board will receive the Zero-Alcohol Package. This package type will be assigned prior to sailing based on the age of the guest. When sailing from North America, the legal drinking age on Princess Cruises is 21. However, when sailing from Europe, Asia, South America, Australia and New Zealand, the legal drinking age is 18. When sailing from Japan, the legal drinking age is 20.

What if I don’t drink alcohol?

The value of the Princess Premier and Princess Plus Packages is a great deal even if you don’t drink alcohol. Both packages include zero-alcohol cocktails, fountain sodas, up to 12 bottles of sparkling or still water per day, specialty coffees & teas, frappes, and Red Bull energy drinks, with pre-paid 18% service charge included for these items. If you decide that you don’t want the Premier Beverage Package or Plus Beverage Package, no substitutions will be offered.

What is included in the Zero-Alcohol Package?

The Zero-Alcohol Package includes zero-alcohol cocktails, fountain sodas, specialty coffees and teas, frappes, and Red Bull energy drinks, all subject to availability on ship, with pre-paid 18% service charge included for these items. You also receive a 25% discount on one liter still or sparkling bottled water. The Zero-Alcohol Package does not include mini-bar items, sodas ordered through room service or vending machine purchases.

How does the ship know that I have the Premier Beverage Package or Plus Beverage Package?

Our ships’ system recognizes the package attached to a guest’s booking and notifies our crew at the time of each transaction. When a guest orders an included item, the crew will see the applicable package and enter an order according to the package inclusions in the system.

Can I choose which drinks count toward my daily limit of 15 drinks with Princess Plus?
Unfortunately, you can’t select which drinks count toward your daily limit with Princess Plus—the 15 included beverages are automatically tracked. However, you’re always welcome to purchase additional drinks beyond your limit if you’d like.

What if I prefer a canned soda instead of a fountain soft drink?

Our packages include fountain soft drinks. If you prefer a canned soda, we are happy to provide, if available, upon request which will count towards a guest's daily 15-drink limit for the Plus Package. For single soda orders, we are happy to provide canned sodas upon request at no cost.

What are specialty dining meals and where can I get them?

Our specialty dining offers award-winning restaurants that make any night a special occasion. Experience a cruise dining experience you won’t want to miss. These options vary by ship but include Crown Grill — a classic American steakhouse serving mouthwatering USDA Black-Angus steaks, Sabatini’sSM Italian Trattoria—our signature Italian restaurant, or The Catch by Rudi — featuring a menu fit for seafood lovers, among others.

What are casual dining meals and where can I get them?

Enjoy incredible meals from our relaxed yet rewarding sit-down restaurants and pop-ups that offer something for everyone. These vary by ship, but include: Alfredo’s Pizzeria, O’Malley’s, Ocean Terrace, Salty Dog Gastropub and more.

Do I need to make reservations for my specialty dining meals in advance?

It’s not necessary but we do recommend guests book early via the reservations function within the Princess Cruises app to get the specialty dining restaurant, day and time of their preference.

What type of dining is included in my Princess Premier Package?

Effective January 14, 2026, the Princess Premier Package includes unlimited casual dining and specialty dining meals. Get ready for love at first bite with Princess.

What type of dining is included in my Princess Plus Package?

Effective January 14, 2026, the Princess Plus Package includes four casual dining meals per guest per voyage.

What if I don’t use the specialty dining meals included in my Princess Premier Package or the casual dining meals included in my Princess Premier Package or Princess Plus Package?
The specialty dining meals or casual dining meals are only available for your current voyage, are non-refundable if not used and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Is it possible to make a reservation for someone else using my specialty dining on my package?
Specialty dining benefits included in the Princess Premier Package are reserved exclusively for the package holders and cannot be transferred or used on behalf of others.

How does the ship know that I have pre-paid Wi-Fi?
MedallionNet® and MedallionNet®Max Wi-Fi automatically recognizes pre-paid plans. Guests have the option to “redeem” after sign-on to activate their device.

Does each guest in a stateroom that purchased Princess Premier® get four devices of MedallionNet® Max Wi-Fi?
Yes, each guest with Princess Premier® will receive the four-device MedallionNet® Max Wi-Fi plan.

Can I purchase MedallionNet® Max Wi-Fi?
All guests that purchase the Princess Plus® or Princess Premier® package will automatically receive the new tier of Wi-Fi called MedallionNet® Max. Guests without a Princess Plus® or Princess Premier® package are still able to purchase MedallionNet® Classic separately.

Are shore excursions included in the Princess Premier Package?

Effective January 14, 2026, shore excursion credits are included in the Princess Premier Package in the following amounts: (i) $100 for cruises of 6 to 9 days in length; (ii) $200 for cruises of 10 to 20 days in length; (iii) $300 for cruises of 21 or more days in length. Shore excursion credits are redeemable pre-cruise online or onboard by visiting the Shore Excursion desk. Shore excursions are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, are based on availability and vary by cruise itinerary. See full Excursion Terms & Conditions for further details.

What if I don’t use the shore excursion credits included in my Princess Premier Package?

Unused shore excursion credits are only available for your current voyage, are non-refundable if not used and cannot be redeemed for cash.

What is Crew Appreciation and how does it work?

Crew Appreciation is the pre-paid tips for the crew that takes care of you. Essentially, it's a way to handle tips upfront, so you don't have to worry about it during your vacation.

How does the ship know that my package option includes crew appreciation?

Your folio will reflect the pre-payment, by Princess Cruises, on your behalf for the suggested crew appreciation in the U.S. dollar amounts of $17 per person per day for interior, oceanview, and balcony staterooms, $18 per person per day for mini-suite, cabanas, and Reserve Collection staterooms and $19 per person per day for suites.

Who does “Crew Appreciation” recognize?

Crew Appreciation recognizes the many crew members in the Bar, Dining, Entertainment, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Galley, Onboard Revenue areas and more throughout our fleet who contribute to the guest experience.

Can I opt-out of Crew Appreciation as part of the package?

Crew Appreciation is a daily amount automatically added to a guest’s onboard account. Guests who purchase either the Princess Premier Package or Princess Plus Package will automatically receive this benefit. Since it’s bundled with the package, it can’t be removed, exchanged, or refunded. It's a way to handle tips upfront, so you don't have to worry about it during your vacation.

Can I tip additional to a select crew member for extraordinary service?

While Crew Appreciation is included in your cruise fare, you’re more than welcome to provide an additional tip directly to any crew member who goes above and beyond – it’s always appreciated.

What is included in the Princess Premier Photo Package?

The Princess Premier Photo Package provides digital images of all guests in a stateroom from their voyage, including 3rd and 4th guests. In addition, each guest receives three printed photos (up to 8x10 size), which can be redeemed onboard from PrincessPhoto. Digital images are available for download through the Princess Cruises App.

Please note:

• The Photo Package does not include images from special events, weddings, vow renewals, group photos of more than 20 people, or Premium Photo services.
• All prints and digital images must be claimed onboard during the voyage; they are not available after the cruise ends.

Can I purchase the Princess Premier Photo Package separately?

The Princess Premier Photo Package is currently an exclusive offer for Princess Premier guests only. Other digital and print packages are available for purchase through the Princess Cruises app or at the Photo Gallery on board.

I already purchased my cruise. Can I upgrade to either Princess Premier or Princess Plus?

Absolutely, you can upgrade from Princess Standard to Princess Plus or Princess Premier through Manage Booking. You can also upgrade from Princess Plus to Princess Premier by paying thedifference based on the price of your original package. To do so, simplycontact Princess via our Contact Center, or contact your Travel Advisor.

I purchased my Princess Plus Package before the recent package update, can I still receive the new added benefits?

If you purchased your Princess Plus Package before July 22, 2025 and are sailing in 2026, you can upgrade to the new Princess Premier Package and receive the newly added benefits.

Are third and fourth guests required to purchase the same package (Princess Premier or Princess Plus)?

Third and fourth guests are not required to purchase the same package as guests one and two in the stateroom. Should 3rd and 4th guests choose to opt in to purchase a package, it must be the same package (Princess Premier or Princess Plus), and you will need to contact Princess via our Contact Center or your Travel Advisor to have it applied to the booking.

Can items in Princess Premier or Princess Plus be shared across guests in the stateroom, even if 3rd and 4th guests don’t have these packages?

For the Princess Premier package the following items can be shared across all guests: Wi-Fi for 4 devices per guest, the digital photo portion of the Photo Package and reserved theater seating. Casual Dining or Specialty Dining meals cannot be shared with the 3rd and 4th guests in the stateroom.

Can I purchase Princess Premier or Princess Plus when I’m on board?

Yes, you can purchase or upgrade to the Princess Premier or Princess Plus Packages onboard through the second day of your voyage. However, you’ll enjoy savings per guest when you purchase your package in advance prior to your sailing.

Are Princess Premier and Princess Plus applicable on the land portion of my cruisetour?

Unfortunately, no. These value packages are designed around your MedallionClass® shipboard experience and are not applicable during the land portion of cruisetours.

How do I book Princess Premier®or Princess Plus®?

You may select your preferred package upon booking online, through your preferred Travel Advisor or bycontacting Princess Cruises via our Contact Center.If you’re already booked and have not purchased a package option, you canpurchase a package through Manage Booking, your preferred Travel Advisor or by contacting Princess Cruises via our Contact Center.

If I purchase the Princess Premier or Princess Plus Package, will that increase the cost of my vacation protection?
Yes, it may. The Princess Premier and Princess Plus Packages are included in your total cruise fare when selected, and vacation protection cost is calculated based on that total fare.
